This Day In Running... March 2rd
1998- Maurice Greene of the United States runs a world record 6.39 seconds in the 60m dash in Madrid, Spain. Maurice went on to tie this record March 3rd, 2001. Maurice was also a world record holder at 100m with a time of 9.79 seconds. He has won 4 Olympic Medals and won 5 world championships.
