This Day in Field History- February 21st
1993- Sergey Bubka of Ukraine set the World Record in the Indoor Pole Vault of 6.15 meters or 20' 2 and 1/8". This mark is higher than his Outdoor World record by 1 cm. Sergey owns 11 of the top 12 Vaults ever indoors including another one of 6.13m on February 21st of 1992.
